The RAPTOR has been at the unchallenged top position for almost 10 years, but now a follow-up model is available in the subwoofer technology from CARPOWER: the unique power of the RAPTORs drive system has been combined with the precision and stability of a full aluminium cone.


The new speaker is a RAPTOR, too, but the MK2 version provides a better reproduction of the lowest bass frequencies than the previous model and combines it with an even further developed dynamic efficiency and a high pulsed power.

30cm (12") high-tech speaker of uncompromisingly high quality for the ultimate bass reproduction, full aluminium cone in one-piece surround of long excursion, additional screw connection of the cone suspension with the basket. The unique drive system of the RAPTOR with double centering spider technology in front of and behind the magnet, double air gap utilisation (2 voice coil sections in 2 magnetic fields) and the voice coil wound on the inside and outside (the complete surface of the unique 4-part voice coil corresponds to a single coil with a height of 36mm and a diameter of 32cm!) and the high-class 6-rayed yoke for pole core support allows to perform the complete cone amplitudes available with a really exceptional linearity.

 

The RAPTOR-12MK2 can be applied in closed cabinets of very compact size, too. However, the complete power of this bass speaker can be experienced in bass-reflex cabinets of medium size. Compared with the previous model, a clear improvement has been achieved in cabinets of 65 litres. A bass speaker of a truly exceptional quality!
