With AURAL AIDE Tour Guide systems the Tour Leader wears the compact lightweight body pack T2-863 transmitter and lapel microphone or holds the Handheld Mic (HH-863).
Listeners use similar portable R2-863 receivers and lightweight headsets to hear every word clearly and easily, even at the back of a large group.
The Tour Guide system offers 16 FM channels to accommodate multiple tour groups. Operating over a distance of up to 200 metres the Tour Guide transmitter will broadcast to any number of users with additional receivers purchased. Both the transmitter and the receiver are field tunable. The portable wireless listening system is easy to set up and use, no installation is required.
Due to the close frequency spacing of this equipment the simultaneous operation of
more than two transmitters is not recommended.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
Aural Aide is a UHF radio system operating in the licence exempt 863 Mhz band. The sound quality is crystal clear and the range, up to 200 metres is excellent. Each transmitter and receiver has sixteen user selectable channels available. The transmitters and receivers run from standard AA batteries, rechargeable or disposable types can be used for maximum flexibility. Ear defender headsets for use in noisey enviroments and personal neck loops for hearing aid users are available for specialist applications.
