The Access Audio PP range of radio systems has been designed for use by non technical personnel to provide a cost effective, reliable and efficient means of monitoring or protecting vulnerable patients or staff.
All systems are supplied ready programmed for instant deployment. The transmitters are battery powered with a typical battery life of five to seven years. The receivers, both portable and fixed, are mains powered with a sealed lead acid battery to ensure continued operation even during a mains fail situation.
PP Series alarms are modular and flexible in that the system can be expanded easily by simply adding transmitters and/or receivers as required. All PP series receivers can be set to latch or momentary mode on receiving a signal. Momentary means the internal sounder and the panel LED will activate for approximately five seconds before resetting. Latching means that the internal sounder and the panel LED will activate until the receiver is manually reset or receivers get a reset signal from a transmitter.
PP-01/02/03/06/09 transmitters are two channel devices and need two channels on any PP receiver; all other transmitters are single channel. All PP receivers will accept calls from any PP transmitter; example a monitoring system with one receiver at a central manned point could have an additional receiver at a different location as a back up or as a means of monitoring the system. Each receiver would show exactly the same alarms. All PP receivers monitor the battery status of the transmitters and will indicate low battery long before the transmitter fails. All PP receivers have volts free changeover contacts to provide outputs to sounders, strobes or digital Communicators etc. |
