Overview Profoundly deaf people or hard of hearing employees? How do they know if the fire alarm rings? How do you contact them? Vibrating pagers are the answer. Local area pagers which vibrate are an essential link between fire alarm systems and profoundly deaf people both at work, at home or in the community. Access Audio offer selected heavy duty, high power commercial systems suitable for industrial or commercial applications covering very large sites or buildings. Each pager system can accommodate an unlimited number of pager receivers and transmissions, can be directed to single pagers or groups of pagers. Pagers will vibrate when receiving a message and will continue to vibrate until the transmitter is reset by the person who initiated the call, (automatically in the case of fire alarms). All pager systems are fully DTI approved and a Radio Agency License is required for operation.
VP SYS 001 - VIBRATING NUMERIC PAGER A low budget system with four inputs each of which when triggered will cause a numeric pager to vibrate and display either 1, 2, 3 or 4 in the display panel and is automatically triggered on alarm activation. The three other inputs can be used for other purposes such as alerting the deaf person to come to reception, answer a Mincom telephone, or door bell etc.
VP SYS 002 - VIBRATING MESSAGE PAGER This sophisticated system has four or eight pre-set alpha numeric messages, when automatically triggered by a fire alarm panel activation the pager will vibrate and display a message such as ‘FIRE – EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY’. Up to seven further specific messages can be programmed to individual requirements; these messages can be triggered in a number of ways. A ringing telephone will automatically trigger a specific message, similarly a door opening or a bell or intercom sounding will result in the appropriate message appearing on the vibrating pager. An optional keyboard interface allows custom messages to be transmitted in addition to the standard facilities
VP SYS 003 - VIBRATING MULTISCAN PAGER A pager system which is used to transmit real English messages generated by nursecall or multiscan systems. The same message as displayed on nursecall or multiscan displays is transmitted to alpha numeric vibrating pagers which also have two levels of tone i.e. standard call and emergency. As with the VPSYS 002 optional keypads allow the maximum flexibility of operation in sending live messages to pagers.
VP SYS 004 TO BS5839 - VIBRATING MESSAGE PAGER This sophisticated system is the same as system VP-SYS 002 except that it fully complies with the recommendations of BS5839 Part 1. A total of 8 messages are available to belt clip receivers and four to static receivers.
