Overview
Overview

Designed for use by people working on their own or requiring backup, the Access Audio alarm unit contains a radio receiver and a GSM digital communicator. The unit has been adopted by some for use as a personal protection system for those away from constant security, but requiring 24 hr protection. With the advantage of using cellular telephone technology, hence fixed line loss or tampering not being an issue, the unit has seen use in several ‘witness protection’ applications. In the event of an alarm being activated, the AA GSM Alarm will communicate with either a central monitoring station or with a ‘private’ telephone (fixed line or cellular or both). The base unit measures 50mm high, 210mm wide and 270mm deep - it can be wall mounted or free standing.

Power requirements - 230vAC or 12vDC

Monitoring
Monitoring

When an alarm is sent to a private telephone, the location of the unit is identified by way of a 16 second pre-recorded message . At this point the person receiving the call can open a two-way speech channel with the AA GSM Alarm unit. When used in conjunction with a central station, the AA GSM Alarm exchanges data with the control centre which identifies the location of the unit. A two-way speech channel between the unit and the control station operator can then be opened. The unit can be programmed to call up to four separate telephone numbers. If it fails to connect with the first number it will default to the second and so on. The four numbers can be any combination of private or central station.

Tilt Trigger
Tilt Trigger

Tilt actuators clip on to workers waist band. If actuated by a fall or via its built in 2 button manual operator, the unit will ‘radio’ back to the Lone Worker base station, activating a call. ‘Sleep’ activation for a time period is easily enabled for workers likely to ‘lean’ over on a particular job. An audio signal gives an operator the chance to cancel a potential alarm before alerting the base station

Wrist Trigger
Wrist Trigger

Wrist actuators mount on a workers wrist, similar to a watch, on a simple neck loop cord or belt clip for convenience.
