The EASYANSWER PHONE is simple to use, auto answers incoming calls and can make outgoing calls to any telephone at the press of one button*1 and has the following features.

INCOMING CALLS

Automatic answering after a preset number of rings.
Duplex speech (normal hands free two way conversation).
User can hang-up and terminate call by pressing one button, (optional ‘zero touch’ switch available if user has very restricted movement or dexterity problems).
Remote control of call is by the person calling in, the recipient simply converses, no physical input required.
Lapel clip microphone as standard to cater for very low voice levels.
Volume can be adjusted remotely by caller.
Automatic call timeout, time adjustable one to nine minutes

OUTGOING CALLS

One touch on front panel or optional remote pear-push switch triggers a call
Optional ‘zero touch switch’ on goose neck stand available if user has very restricted movement or
dexterity problems.
Duplex speech (normal hands free two way conversation).
The call can be terminated or extended by the recipient of the call by pressing buttons on their phone.
Automatic call timeout, time adjustable one to nine minutes

APPLICATIONS

The EASYANSWER phone allows any person who cannot physically pick up and dial or hang up a
telephone to make and receive calls to or from any number at will.
Relatives and friends can dial up and talk to a person who otherwise could not answer and use a telephone.

HOW IT WORKS

Simply call into the EASYANSWER PHONE, it will auto answer after a pre set number of rings.
Your voice will be heard by the called person and you will hear the other person speaking, carry on as above until the end of your call then have the caller press ‘0’; this hangs up the EASYANSWER PHONE and resets the system ready for further calls. If desired a standard telephone can be used alongside the EASYANSWER phone to allow normal use of the line by others

NOTES

1) Setting the outgoing dialled number to BT’s 198 or enhanced 198 services will allow the user to be
connected to any number desired.
2) Just before the automatic timeout a series of warning tones will be heard, by pressing any button,
(except ‘0’), on the telephone making or receiving a call, the timeout period will be reset. This can be
done indefinitely until the end of the call. In the event of problems encountered in setting the equipment
up or changing settings Access Audio engineers can make all changes required remotely.
