Overview The Access Audio Disabled Door Entry system is specially designed to allow persons with dexterity problems to control door access. The system essentially consist of three parts with optional extras. The first part is a standard type door station which is located at the dwelling front door and consists of a bell push, microphone and loudspeaker.
The second part is an apartment station with large, (1.5" by 2.5"), pressure sensitive buttons, clearly marked PRESS TO TALK and PRESS TO RELEASE DOOR. The apartment stations can be wall or table top mounted and two desk top angled stands are available. Up to four apartment stations can be connected to each system.
The third part is the electric strike lock release which releases the door lock. A two channel radio override system to allow remote control of the system is also available; this is particularly useful when the user also has restricted mobility. |
